Final Resting – Framed Original Acrylic Painting

Hand-framed original acrylic painting. I have always been fascinated with bones, and I keep a collection of various skulls and bones that I find while hiking. White-tailed Deer has always been at the top of my wish list, and I have had some good luck this year, finding 3 full skulls (all bucks), and 2 different sheds. This skull was the second found on a day exploring a local ravine. The staining on the skull, and his partially grown antlers indicates that he died during April/May of at least 2022 or earlier.
