Big Buck – Original Acrylic Painting

Hand-framed original acrylic painting. My encounter with this buck was really something else. It was shortly after the rutting season when the boys are tired and hungry. This guy was in my usual deer spot, and he had no worries about me whatsoever. He let me approach and pass by him within 2 metres, showing a bit of interest in me. It’s incredible to be that close, especially to a large buck who could easily cause some damage if he really wanted to with those 8 points on his head. I was hoping once he sheds those antlers for the season that I would be able to find them but no luck so far.
